Possibly the best Christmas Present ever!

No, it is not Libby but she is hard to beat! I added my pictures backwards. Keep scrolling!

The cute Macbeth family and Libby's first tree!
Here is possibly the best Christmas present ever! Kinda a long story but so worth it. When we had to clean out my parents home I told my brothers and sister all I really wanted was this cute flocked cardboard Santa. My mom had bought it for 10 cents on their first Christmas she and my dad were married. It always sat beneath our Christmas tree and I loved it. Well, when we went through things at mom and dads the Santa was nowhere to be found. I was very sad because he meant so much to me. Today I got a present in the mail from my sister, Tammy, and found a duplicate Santa just like my childhood one. Tammy knew how much I loved that Santa and searched e-bay and found an exact (but slightly less loved) one. Bet she paid more than 10 cents but I love it and it will now have a place of honor under my tree. She did put in dibs for it if I die first! Thank you Tammy for one of my best gifts ever!!!!!

Libby is 3 months old!

Ellie do you remember this outfit? You were cute in it too!
She refuses to smile when the camera is pointed at her

Libby get to open her very first Christmas present early on her 3 month birthday!

She pulled the bow all the way off!

She really does like her Christmas Train!

Thanksgiving 2010

We got to spend a nice long Thanksgiving weekend at Tammys house in Rocklin. We ate too much and even went to San Francisco on Friday.
Libbys first Thanksgiving - she was the center of attention

The adult table! Tammy really went all out and we had the best Thanksgiving dinner ever!

Lane, Jannica, Mike, and Brit at the kids table

Who is cuter? Uncle Randy or Libby? Randy actually looked at the camera!

The other part of the kids table!

We played some fun Minute to Win It games - here are the winners

And here are the losers!!!!

The weather was perfect in San Francisco and made me want to go back soon for a nice long weekend. Hopefully, the weather will be good when we go back!

We were at Ghiradelli Square for their tree lighting

On Saturday it rained and we went for a walk. It was a great weekend. Thanks Mitchells!

Libbys Blessing

Libbys blessing day - November 7, 2010 - we missed the Openshaws!
Isn't she a doll? It is a tradition that I make blessing outfits so I made this cute dress for Libby

Just missing one of my granddaughters - too bad Utah is so far away!

The very cute (and color coordinated) Macbeths!

Summer loves it when I take her picture!

The Stewarts before church

On Saturday we all went to the San Diego Wild Animal Park and saw lots of cool animals

Brads parents, Diann and Paul, were down and we had s great time sharing Libby

I have pictures of other grandkids in this egg but they are all too big now!

It got a little chilly but Libby didn't mind

With all the animals to look at we all enjoyed looking at Libby the most!

Halloween 2010

The cutest little fairy!

The cute and color coordinated Macbeth family!
Terry and two of my primary boys at the trunk or treat - can you see how cute our car is?

Libby and I had our first Friday together and she was dressed for the occasion. Her shirt says "grandma makes me happy" I really think it is the other way around! We had a fun busy day and I was tired afterwards!

This is just one of Libbys cute dresses - sooo cute!!!

Terry finally sees the white!

Since we have remodeled and moved in to the new house I have been bugging Terry to let me paint the cupboards white. He had some pretty strong ties to the oak but he finally saw the "white". Not bad before....
A few years ago I suggested we paint the hutch he built about 15 years ago. It is a great hutch but I felt it would be cuter with parts of it white....

The new and brighter white kitchen!!! Mike the painter did a great job!

I love the hutch! And even though Terry doesn't like to admit it, he does too!

Cute Libby at 6 weeks! We can't believe she could get any cuter but she does. She is cooing and smiling (just not when we have the camera ready!)

Fall Visitors

The Stewarts came first and had great beach weather!
They mostly came for some serious Libby time

We had a quick (got there too late) trip to Pumpkin City

It was a fun group with Tammy and Brit too

The cute Macbeth Family

The Openshaws overlapped the Stewarts for about half a day. We had more time with them at Pumpkin City but in the everpresent drizzle.

Notice the rain drops!

We had a fun walk to the beach by way of the gorgeous St. Regis Hotel. Can you tell we didn't get hot?

Ellie at one of the fountains - we were the only people there!

We took these crazy Utahans to Three Arch Bay and they enjoyed it despite the horrible weather!
